Tacoma, Washington – The Port of Tacoma (POT) told hundreds of business and community leaders today that Regal Logistics is its choice for the 2015 Summit Awards Business Magnet. The announcement came at the POT’s annual breakfast where it communicates accomplishments, priorities and the overall “state of the port.”

Recognizing its strong, supportive relationships with its top performers, the POT honored Regal for its outstanding contributions to Port business and the Pierce County community. “We are incredibly proud of the Port’s customers and stakeholders, like Regal Logistics, who make our community prosperous, livable and environmentally friendly,” said POT Commission President Don Johnson.

“Speaking for the entire team at Regal Logistics, we’re honored to receive the Port of Tacoma’s business magnet award. Forty-five years strong in 2015 and still family owned, Regal will continue its contributions and dedication to business development and quality of life in our community for many more years to come,” said Tony Wilmoth, Director of Sales for Regal Logistics.

The Business Magnet Award recognizes a POT customer or member of the supply chain (from a pool of hundreds of shippers, transportation or logistics service providers, or developers) for business development efforts and investments that lead to recognizable increase in business volume or new business opportunities for the Port of Tacoma, and have a positive economic effect for the citizens of Pierce County.
