Cross docking saves you time and money by immediately routing inbound products to loading docks for outbound shipment without the intermediate step and cost of warehouse storage. Regal Logistics infrastructure supports full cross docking capabilities. Our facilities are designed for high velocity distribution, with double-sided shipping doors that are equipped with hydraulic dock levelers so truck maneuverability is 120 feet.

In our cross docking system, pallets of material are received on one dock and broken down into customer-specified loads. Then the loads are transferred to outbound trucks. The disposition of every load is recorded and monitored in our secured yard.

Regal’s Cross Dock System - High Velocity Distribution:

  • Product arrives at Regal Logistics and is uniquely received against an ASN;
  • Any shortages/overages are allocated based on a customer-defined rule;
  • Product is sorted, palletized and staged by store prior to shipment;
  • Regal ships to stores based on transit time, pool distribution or date-specific delivery;
  • Exception reporting is created and monitored for on-time shipments and rate-of-fill to better manage vendor compliance and performance.
